A Time of Learning & Spiritual Enrichment


As many of you know, I enjoy the study of Church History, especially pertaining to the Wesleyan-Methodist and Holiness movement. We can learn from our church fathers and see many trends and problems similar in today's world. This enables us to get a better perspective on things and appreciate our rich heritage. This photo is from a General Church History class I took last fall.
Dr. Mark Eckart (far right) our Indiana South Wesleyan District Superintendent was our professor for the 20 hour class. Dr. Jerry Pence,(far left) one of our General Superintendents guest lectured on Wesleyan Church's and the Holiness movement's history. (He even had us in stitches a couple of times. ) We thank Pastor Bob England and Paoli Wesleyan Church for the use of their beautiful facility.We were greatly inspired and learned quite a lot those two Saturday's.
